Once again our work team from St. John's Church in Franklin, Pennsylvania is on the countdown for departure to San Pedro Sula, Honduras. This has been a long haul as we were all prepared to go 9 months ago but had to delay the trip due to a volatile political situation in Honduras.
We had our last team meeting tonight and arranged to meet in the church parking lot at 2:30am (!!!) on April 17th before leaving for Pittsburgh and our 6am flights to Honduras. We went over our packing lists and plans and are about as ready as we can be. We all have our sunscreen and insecticides ready to pack.
Our next step will be a formal team commissioning (recommissioning?) during the church services on Sunday April 11th. dp
